Disney and Lucasfilm have announced release dates for the next three Star Wars films that will follow Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker. We knew the films were going to take a break and now we no for how long. There won’t be a new film in the cinemas until December 2022.
The dates for the three films are 16th December 2022, 20th December 2024 and 18th December 2026. There is no word on what the content of these films is or who will be in creative control. Whether this is the Rian Johnson trilogy or the one by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss we will find out at a later date but what we do know is that they won’t be Skywalker films.
