The Channing Tatum lead Gambit film has been on the release schedule for years. It has had multiple release dates, directors and writers but Fox never pulled the trigger on the film. Today Disney took it out to the shed and shot it.
With the Disney/Fox merger there have been lots of film getting release date changes, delays to production or cancelled completely. It won’t be a surprise to anyone that Gambit would be a casualty of this. With Marvel taking back control of the X-Men franchised it make sense that this has happened.
We Have Issues 
Man! That’s disappointing. Disney screws everything up. I just hope they don’t screw up marvel like they did star wars.
