Variety are reporting that Robert Pattinson will play the lead in Matt Reeves upcoming ‘The Batman’. He will replace Ben Affleck.
Probably best known for playing a sparkling vampire in the blockbuster ‘Twilight Saga’ he appears to have beat fellow Brit Nicolas Hoult to the role.
No shooting date has been confirmed and Reeves is still polishing the script. Pattinson in currently working on a project for former Batman director Christopher Nolan so an end of the year start looks likely.
The film is due for release on 25th June 2021.
