Paramount have hired ‘Godzilla Vs. Kong’ director Adam Wingard to helm a new take on the John Woo action classic ‘Face/Off’. Wingard will also be scripting alongside his writing partner Simon Barrett.
The 1997 original, starring John Travolta and Nicholas Cage, revolved around a battle between an obsessed F.B.I. agent and a master criminal. The agent ends up swapping faces with the criminal so he can go undercover to stop a bomb and mayhem ensues.
No details were given on the project apart from that it will be a reboot with an all new cast.
