‘Captain America 4’ Spinning Out Of ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’

Malcolm Spellman, creator and head writer of Marvel Studios’ ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ for Disney+, is to develop ‘Captain America 4’ for theatrical release. Spellman will co-write the script with Dalan Musson, a staff writer on the show. No director is attached.

The show set up Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie, as the new Captain America but there is no news on the story of the film. There are several routes the film could take that were set up by the show. It could be a straightforward Sam Wilson film, they could explore the story of the black Captain America Isaiah Bradley from the 40s and 50s, or they could follow the rumour of Captain America living on the moon.

Early this year it was rumoured that Chris Evans had signed up with Marvel again to reprise his role of Steve Rogers/Captain America (which has since been denied) so it possible he could also play a role.

As usual Marvel Studios have not commented.
