After numerous actors were tested Leslie Grace has been cast to play Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in the upcoming HBO Max exclusive superhero film.
Grace is a rising star whose breakout was the recent ‘In The Heights’.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing the film from a script by Christina Hodson which will focus on Barbara Gordon. Gordon is the original Batgirl and daughter of the commissioner.
There has been no comment from Warner Bros. on the casting or where this film will fit in with the other DC Bat films.
