Michael B. Jordan Developing A Superman Project For HBO Max

‘Black Panther’ and ‘Creed’ star Michael B. Jordan is developing a Superman project for HBO Max through his production company Outlier Society. The film will focus on Val-Zod, the Earth-2 Superman, and Jordan may play the role but is currently undecided. It is not clear if the project will be a film of a series but it will be made exclusively for the streaming service.

Collider are reporting that Outlier Society have already hired an unnamed writer for the project. The company are already in the superhero business as they are currently producing a ‘Static Shock’ film for DC Films.

This is a rival project to J.J. Abrams theatrical Superman film that will reimaging Clark Kent as a black hero.
