‘The Mummy’ star Brendan Fraser has signed on to play the villain in the upcoming HBO Max DC film ‘Batgirl’.
Fraser will portray Firefly, a pyrotechnics expert turn arsonist, opposite Leslie Grace’s Batgirl. ‘Bad Boys For Life’ directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are helming the film.
This will be Fraser’s second DC role as he his currently voicing Robotman on ‘Doom Patrol’.
‘Batgirl’ is about to go into production and will be released exclusively on HBO Max sometime in 2022.
