Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures are prepping the next film in the Saw franchise for a 27th October release date. This will be the tenth film in the series.
Last year Darren Bousman relaunched the franchise with ‘Spiral: From the Book of Saw’ starring Chris Rock and Samuel J. Jackson with the film making over $40 million when released during the pandemic. This has paved the way for the series to continue.
The new film will be directed by Kevin Greutert who previously directed ‘Saw VI’ and ‘Saw: The Final Chapter’. He also edited I to V and ‘Jigsaw’.
At the moment all plot details are being kept under wraps.
