Michael Cuesta, who directed the pilots for both ‘Dexter’ and ‘Homeland’, is set to take control of the first episode of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ for Marvel Studios. The series will see Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio appear as Daredevil and King Pin, reprising their roles from the Netflix version of the show. It was also recently announced the Jon Bernthal would also be back as the Punisher.
Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Sandrine Holt, and Michael Gaston will also appear on the show.
The eighteen episode series is just starting its nearly year long shoot and Cuesta is just attached to the pilot. The rest of the episodes will be split into blocks with directors still to be revealed.
The show is expected to debut on Disney+ sometime next year.
