Filming on the third film in the ‘Terrifier’ franchise is due to begin in November or December of this year with a plan to release it at the end of 2024.

French distribution company The Coven have launched international sales on the film following the financial success of ‘Terrifier 2’ from a very modest $250,000 budget. The film made $15 million worldwide, including a $10 million take from the US and Canada.

‘Terrifier 3’ will once again be written and directed by Damien Leone with Phil Falcone producing. This time round they will be working with a much increased budget that will be somewhere in the low to mid seven figure range.

The cast has not been announced but David Howard Thornton (who plays Art The Clown) and Lauren LaVera (Sienna) are expected to return.

There will be a much bigger budget this time around, which is intended to give the filmmakers more creative freedom, and let them be as wild as they can be.  And, all jokes aside, we are going for that Oscar this year.

‘Terrifier 2’ pushed the boundaries of gore and gained attention when people were seen passing out and throwing up in audiences and now Leone is promising to push things further.

Terrifier 3 will be another boundary pushing addition to the horror genre, continuing the no holds barred, uncompromising exploits fans of the franchise have come to expect and celebrate. If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in part 2 was extreme, you haven’t seen anything yet.
