James Gunn and Peter Safran’s search is over and he has announced his new Superman and Lois Lane for the new DCU. David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan will be taking on the prized roles.
As usual for Gunn, the confirmation came via Twitter.
The two will star in Superman: Legacy, which will be written and directed by Gunn with Safran producing.
This is a massive leap forward on Corenswet’s career, so far he is know for Ryan Murphy vehicles The Politician and Hollywood as well as Ti West’s Pearl. Brosnahan is much more establish, having won an Emmy and Golden Globe for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Superman: Legacy is released on 11th July 2025.
