It is being reported that Donald Glover and his brother, Stephen, will now be writing the Lando series for Lucasfilm and Disney+.
The series, that was first announced in 2020, originally had Justin Simien (Dear White People) attached, but it is believed that he has been of the project for some time.
The Glover brothers have previously worked together on the critical acclaimed Atlanta, as well as Swarm and Guava Island.
Donald first played Lando, a younger version of Billy Dee Williams’ character from the Original Trilogy, in 2018’s Solo: A Star Wars Story.
