20th Century Studios has announce that their prequel to The Omen, The First Omen, will be released on 5th April, 2024. They also released a first-look image from the film.
The film will follow a young American woman who is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church, there she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.
The film stars Nell Tiger Free as Margaret and features Tawfeek Barhom, Sonia Braga, Ralph Ineson and Bill Nighy.
The First Omen is directed by Arkasha Stevenson.
