It is being reported that Nicholas Hoult is James Gunn’s choice to play Lex Luthor in Superman: Legacy. He becomes the biggest name cast so far and joins the already announced David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan, who are playing Superman and Lois Lane.
Hoult is no stranger to superhero films, having played Beast in multiple X-Men films, and also featured in Mad Max: Fury Road.
Superman: Legacy, the first film in the new DCU, will be released on 11th July, 2025.
