A day after Spyglass dropped Melissa Barrera from Scream VII due to social media posts, Jenna Ortega has quit the film due an alleged scheduling conflict.
Ortega has chosen to shoot the second season of Wednesday over the horror sequel and it is claimed that her departure isn’t linked to Barrera’s with the studio being informed back in May.
Now that it has lost its two leads, the future of Scream VII hangs in the balance but it still has Christopher Landon attached to direct.
