Jonathan Majors has now official been removed from the role of Kang by Marvel Studios after having been found guilty of reckless assault in the third degree and guilty of harassment. This follows a two-week trial that stemmed from a March incident between the actor and his ex-partner, Grace Jabbari.
Majors has already played Kang in two seasons of Loki and was the primary villain of Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania. The character was being set up to be the next major threat in the MCU with Majors locked to headline Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which has a 1st May 2026 release date.
Marvel have been tight lipped on whether Kang will be recast or written out but it was recently revealed that Michael Waldron will be the new writer on the film.
