Kaitlyn Dever has joined the hit HBO show The Last Of Us in the key role of Abby from the second game.
Dever was the game’s fans pick for the lead role of Ellie and went as far as auditioning for the role but the producers felt she was too old went for the younger Bella Ramsey. Dever is 27 and Ramsay 20.

In the game The Last Of Us: Part 2, the character of Abby is central to the plot and her narrative takes over for about half of the gameplay. It is rumoured that the story of the game will be told over two seasons.
Season two is expected to shoot early this year and screen in 2025.
