Warner Bros. has moved up the release of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire by two weeks. The film was due on 12th April but will now drop on 29th March. It will also be released in IMAX on that date.
The date became available as Sony moved Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire forward a week to 22nd March.
The previous film in Legendry’s Monsterverse, Godzilla Vs Kong, was one of the biggest hits of the Covid era, taking over $468 million worldwide.
Directed by Adam Wingard, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire stars ebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Kaylee Hottle, and Daniel Stevens.
