Deadpool 2 director is in talking to direct the next film in the Jurassic Park franchise. It was recently revealed that David Koepp would be returning for the first time since The Lost World to write a fresh take on the series that would move on from existing characters. The new film has a release date of 2nd July, 2025.
Steven Spielberg is once again attached as executive producer through Amblin Entertainment, with franchise veterans Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley producing. David Leitch will also produce through his production company 87North alongside Kelly McCormick.
Leitch would be the biggest name director attached since Spielberg and is known for his action heavy films. His next film The Fall Guy, starring Ryan Gosling, is released this May.
