Prey director Dan Trachtenberg is returning to direct the next entry in the Predator franchise.
The new chapter will be be title Badlands and is not a direct sequel to Prey, which was set in 1719, but it will feature a female lead. Like Prey, the story has been written by Trachtenberg and Patrick Aison, with Aison writing the script.
Plot details for the new film have not been released.
Trachtenberg will also now be in control of the Predator franchise with a number of other projects also rumoured to be in the works.
