Warner Bros. has announced that The Batman Part II will be moving off its 3rd October 2025 release date and being delay a full year until 2nd October 2026.

The 3rd October date will now be taken by The Bride!, Maggie Gyllenhaal’s re-imagining of Bride Of Frankenstein starring former Batman Christian Bale.

The Batman Part II is still set to be directed by Matt Reeves with Robert Pattinson returning in the title role. The original film was released in March of 2022 and had the second biggest opening of the pandemic era with a North American take of $134 billion.

The delay is rumoured to be due to last summer’s strikes delaying the start of production.
