Following Neve Campbell announcing that she is returning for the next instalment of the Scream series after missing the previous outing, it is being reported that Courteney Cox is also in talks to return.
If Cox does sign on, she will be the only actor to appear in all seven film.
Scream 7 will be directed by Kevin Williamson, the series original writer, who is involved creatively for the first time since the fourth film. This will be his directorial debut.
Until two weeks ago, it looked like the project was dead as it had lost both female leads, in the form of Melissa Barrera (controversial fired) and Jenna Ortega (walked away), and director Christopher Landon.
It is unclear is any other franchise regulars, either old or new, will be back for the new film.
