DC Studios has announced that Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow, which will be directed by Craig Gillespie, has a release date of 26th June, 2026. This will make it the second film in the new DCU, following on from James Gunn’s Superman which is coming next summer.
Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow will star Milly Alcock as Superman’s cousin Kara Zor-El. The film will be based on Tom King and Bilquis Evely comic book series and be write by Ana Nogueira.
DC Studios have numerous other films in development but so far nothing else has been official announced as going into production. Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow will start shooting towards the end of the year.
