James Gunn has announced the creative team for the The Lanterns show based on the Green Lantern comics.
The shows pilot and series bible has been written by Damon Lindelof, Chris Mundy, and Tom King.
Lindelof is best known for co-creating Lost and adapting Watchmen as an award winning HBO series. He has also written films like Prometheus and Star Trek Into Darkness. Mundy created Ozark for Netflix and was a writer on True Detective: Night Country. King is currently one of the most acclaimed comic book writers with the upcoming Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow being based off his work.
DC Studio head Peter Safran has said that the series will be similar in tone to True Detective.
