Legendary have picked Grant Sputore to direct the next film in their Monsterverse, which is expected to be a third Godzilla and Kong team up. Adam Wingard had directed the previous two films, Godzilla Vs Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, but stepped away due to scheduling reasons.
Sputore made his name directing commercials and he directed the 2019 Hilary Swank sci-fi film I Am Mother.
The new Monstervese film will be written by Dave Callaham, known for Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings and Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse.
