Blumhouse and Atomic Monster are growing the M3GAN franchise by developing SOULM8TE, and erotic thriller set in the same universe.
The film, which is being fast tracked for a 2nd January 2026 release, will be written and directed by Kate Dolan (You Are Not My Mother) from an original script by (Salvage Marines).
The film will be about a man who acquires an Artificially Intelligent android to cope with the loss of his recently deceased wife. In an attempt to create a truly sentient partner, he inadvertently turns a harmless lovebot into a deadly soulmate.
Fundamentally, I view this film as an exploration of relationships and loneliness. Despite technological advances, there are enduring human truths we cannot escape, and I am looking forward to delving into those depths.

SOULM8TE is separate from M3GAN 2.0 which has a release date of 27th June, 2025.
SOULM8TE is a thrilling and seductive addition to the M3GAN universe.
