First Look At Jimmy Olsen In ‘Superman’

To celebrate the anniversary of the character’s first appearance in comics, James Gunn has shared a photo of Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen in Superman.

Jimmy Olsen, a mainstay of Superman mythology, was played by Marc McClure in all four of the Christopher Reeve film and then by Sam Huntington in Superman Returns. When it came to the Zack Snyder lead DCUE, Olsen only appeared in one scene of Batman V Superman before being killed off but you would only know this if you watched the director’s cut of the film where the character’s name is mentioned.

Superman is released on 11th July, 2025.
