Marvel’s ‘Blade’ Removed From The Release Schedule

Marvel’s long in development Blade has been taken off Disney’s theatrical release schedule. The film had been set for 7th November, 2025.

Blade, which was originally announced by Kevin Feige at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con with Mahershala Ali attached to star, has suffered numerous product delays and rewrites and lost multiple directors.

Eric Pearson (Black Widow, Thor: Ragnarok) is currently onboard to write the film, which Marvel insist is still being planned. The character is currently back in the spotlight with Wesley Snipes having reprised the role, which he played in a trilogy two decades ago, is the recent Deadpool And Wolverine.

Marvel also announced the released date of 18th February, 2028, 5th May, and 10th November, 2028, for untitled films.

7th November, 2025, while now see the Predator franchise return to the big screen with Predator: Badlands.
