‘Godzilla Minus One’ Sequel Announced By Toho

Toho has officially greenlit the follow-up to last years box-office smash Godzilla Minus One.

So far the only information released is that Takashi Yamazaki, the writer, director and VFX supervisor of Godzilla Minus One is back for the new film. While not officially confirmed as a sequel to the previous film, there were enough dangling plot threads to suggest it is.

Godzilla Minus One was third-highest-grossing foreign-language film in U.S. box office history and won the Oscar for best special effects.
