Mason Gooding is set to reprise his role as Chad Meeks-Martin, from Scream 5 and 6, in Scream 7. So far, he is the only one from the franchise’s so called ‘Core Four’ to be returning.
Scream 7, which will be directed by the series creator Kevin Williamson and will see Neve Campbell return as Sidney Prescott, has been filling out it cast in recent weeks with Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace and Sam Rechner all announced as new cast members.
The ‘Core Four’ are the new characters introduced in the fifth film and included Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, and Jasmin Savoy Brown alongside Gooding. Barrera was let go from the franchise over a string of social media post and Ortega walked way for other career opportunities. At the moment, there is no news on Jasmin Savoy Brown returning as Gooding’s sister.
Scream 7 will be released on 27th February, 2026
