Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is the current favourite to take on the role of the X-Men’s Jean Grey for Marvel Studios.
It’s possible that the character could appear in the MCU’s next big event, Avengers: Doomsday, in 2026 and that’s why talk of the casting has emerged now. The Russo Brothers directed film is expected to shoot early next year.
If the casting come to fruition it would hint at the new batch of X-Men being in their mid-20’s with Sink currently being 22. The role has previously been played by Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner.
It is also rumoured that the first MCU X-Men film will be released in November of 2027, just six months after Avengers: Secret Wars.
