Jason Momoa, who played Aquaman in numerous films in the old DCEU, will play Lobo in the upcoming Supergirl film. Momoa has been rumoured to be taking on the role since the DCU (DC Cinematic Universe) was announced.
Momoa released the casting news via his Instagram.
Craig Gillespie is directing Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow with House Of The Dragon’s Milly Alcock in the lead. Momao will feature as Lobo, a fan favourite DC character, a white skinned, cigar chomping alien bountyhunter with superstrength and healing powers. Think Wolverine but in the DC Universe.
Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow has a release date of 26th June, 2026.
