Jason Statham is returning to star in a sequel to his 2024 hit The Beekeeper.
Timo Tjahjanto, who has Nobody 2 coming soon, is replacing David Ayer in the director’s chair but Kurt Wimmer is also back on scripting duties.
The original film was about a retired intelligence operative who worked for an organization known as the Beekeepers. After the death of his beloved landlady due to a phishing scam, he begins a tour of vengeance that take’s him all the way to the White House.
Statham will also produce.
