
David Arquette, whose character of Dewey Riley was disemboweled by Oscar winner Mikey Madison in Scream (2022), will be returning for Scream 7.
Arquette joins Scott Foley and Matthew Lillard, who are also back from the dead in the new film. Lillard played on of the killers in the first film, while Foley was the Ghostface in the third. How the characters will be ressurected has not been revealed.
Other returning actors include Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox from the originals and Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown from the legacy sequels. Joining the franchise for the first time are Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace, Sam Rechner, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mark Consuelos and Ethan Embry.
Scream creator Kevin Williamson is directing for the first time with the film set to be release in February next year.
