Carlton Cuse and his son, Nick, are writing a new Star Wars series for Lucasfilm and Disney+.
Cuse senior is a seasoned TV creative who has worked solidly since the 90s. He is probably best known for being the co-showrunner on Lost alongside Damon Lindelof. He also created The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Nash Bridges, Martial Law, Bates Motel, Colony, and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.
Nick Cuse is known for his TV work on The Leftovers, Maniac, Watchmen, and Station Eleven. He also co-wrote the film The Hunt in 2020. The Star Wars project will be the first time father and son have worked together.
With the second season of Ahsoka entering production this week, this is the only known live action Star Wars TV series to be in development.
No details about the series have been leaked.
