James Gunn has picked Ana Nogueira to write Wonder Woman for DC Studios.
Playwright, actress and screenwriter Nogueira is a Gunn favourite, having already written Supergirl for the studio, which is in post-production, and a currently unfilmed script for the Teen Titans.
Following the success of Superman, which has passed $400 million in just ten days, Gunn has stated that Wonder Woman is a priority for the studio but that they haven’t started the search for an actress yet. The film will be a new take on what we saw in the Snyderverse.
No dates have been announced for the project.
