Scarlett Johansson will add DC to the list of franchises she is in by joining the cast of Matt Reeves’ The Batman sequel.
The long delayed sequel to the hit 2021 film is now looking to shoot early next year for an October 2027 release.
Johansson, who recently also sign on for the next Exorcist film, spent a decade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and more recently became the new face of the Jurassic World series.
There has been no information but who she could be play and very little details about the film itself have leaked out. Robert Pattinson is returning to star as Batman/Bruce Wayne, with Reeves directing and co-writing the script with Mattson Tomlin.
