Sam Raimi has confirmed that his production company are developing a new Darkman film.
Yes, Ghost House Pictures, the company I work with, is trying to make the sequel right now. We’ve got a screenplay and two great directors, but we’re still having a little difficulty with the financing. It’s always the same in the movie business.

Dread Central have announced that the two directors are Brian Netto and Adam Schindler who previously directed Don’t Move for Raimi.
The original Darkman, directed by Raimi and released in 1990, starred Liam Neeson as a scientist seeking revenge on a mobster who left him disfigured him. Using a synthetic skin he had created to disguise himself and superpower gained through an experimental treatment, he hunts those responsible while becoming more mentally unstable.
There were also two DTV sequels released in 1995 and 1996 with Arnold Vosloo taking over the lead role.
