MaxXxine star Mia Goth has signed on to play the villain in Star Wars: Starfighter. She joins the already announced Ryan Gosling in the Shawn Levy directed film.
The project is due to shoot towards the end of this year and has 28th May, 2027, release date.
The film will be unconnected to the Skywalker saga and set around five years after 2019’s The Rise Of Skywalker. Little is known about the film other than Gosling will character who is entrusted with protecting a youth as they are pursued across the galaxy far, far away.
Star Wars: Starfighter is one of two Star Wars films that currently have a release date, the other one being The Mandalorian & Grogu which comes out next May.
