Dave Bautista will battle Henry Cavill to be the only one in the remake of the 80’s fantasy Highlander.
The wrestler turned actor will take on the role of immortal warrior The Kurgan, played in the original by Clancy Brown, who will battle Cavill’s Connor MacLeod across centuries. Also in the cast are Russell Crowe, playing Macleod’s Spanish swordsman mentor Ramirez, and Marisa Abela as the female lead.
Chad Stahelski is directing, from a script by Michael Finch, with principal photography due to begin at the end of the September and shoot in locales in the UK as well as Hong Kong.
