Sony Pictures will continue their Venom franchise with an animated film from Final Destination: Bloodline directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein.
The film will be produced by franchise regulars Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach and is in the early stages of development. Tom Hardy is also said to be involved but it is unknown if he will voicing the character or just producing.
At the moment there is no script but pitches are being taking.
The move to animation follows the success Sony have had with the two Spider-Verse film. A third Spider-Verse is currently in production.
No release date has been announced.
