It looks like Game Of Thrones star Charles Dance will join The Batman sequel in the role of Christopher Dent, the father of Harvey.
He will join Robert Pattinson returning as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent, and Scarlett Johansson as Dent’s wife.
The film will be directed by Matt Reeves from a script by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin.
The role appears to have been a difficult one to cast for Reeves with reports that the majority of actors of a certain age in Hollywood have turned it down with Brad Pitt, Robert De Niro, Daniel Craig, and Stellan Skarsgård all said to have passed.
The film has a release date of 1st October, 2027.
