The new trailer for Avengers: Endgame has dropped and we are finally getting some clues about what is going to happen in the film. The first half of the trailer contains footage from previous films but then we get a series of shots containing new material.
Tony and Nebula are back on Earth
The two characters that were trapped in space have made their way back to Avengers HQ. This is not much of a spoiler as I doubt anyone actually believed Tony would be left orbiting Titan. This is the shot from the first trailer but now with added characters. Although this appears early in the trailer this is most likely the Avengers setting of on their final mission.
Hawkeye’s family have grown up
Clint Barton is seen with what appears to be his family and he has clearly passed on his skills to his daughter. This is most like a flash back to before ‘The Snap’ and his family’s death will be Clint’s motivation to return to active duty.
Ant-Man doesn’t know what has happened
Scott Lang appears to make it out of the quantum realm some time after the events of Avengers: Infinity War. The gardens are over grown and the missing posters are faded. The shot gives the impression that he has no idea what is going on.
The weapon experts team up
Rocket and War Machine are going to go into battle together. It should be explosive.
The two powerhouses square up
Thor’s claim to be the most powerful Avenger seem to be under threat. He squares up to Captain Marvel and she is not going to back down. Are these the two that will defeat Thanos?
What we don’t see
There is no sign of Thanos or anyone who died in ‘The Snap’. Hopefully they will keep these secrets until the film is released in just over a months time.
