Shazam! had a stronger than expected start at the world wide Box Office, so to no ones surprise its is being reported Warner Bros.’ have started planning the sequel. The Wrap are reporting that DC and New Line have approached Shazam! screenwriter Henry Gayden to come back and write the script for the sequel. The report states that David F. Sandberg and producer Peter Safran are also expected to return. Safran is fast becoming DC’s main producer as he is overseeing the Aquaman films and The Suicide Squad as well.
No date has been set for the film.
