
Jeff Nichols has signed on to write and direct a third instalment of the ‘A Quiet Place’ franchise. Nichols is known for his work on ‘Mud’, ‘Midnight Special’, and ‘Loving’.
John Krasinski, who wrote and directed the original, came up with the idea for this spin-off and will produce. The original made $340 million worldwide from a less than $20 million budget. He also made the second film which is finished but has had its release postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
