Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) has been headhunted by 20th Century Studios to try and jumpstart the ‘Predator’ franchise. He will be directing the untitled 5th film from a script by Patrick Aison, whose credits include Amazon’s hit series ‘Jack Ryan’.
The plot for the new film is top secret but it is thought to ignore 2018’s ‘The Predator’ which was directed by Shane Black.
No production time frame has been announced.
