Marvel’s Disney+ ‘Hawkeye’ series starring Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld has filled out it’s cast. Variety are reporting that Florence Pugh, Vera Farmiga, Tony Dalton, Fra Free, Alaqua Cox, and Zahn McClarnon have signed on to appear.
Pugh (‘Midsommar’), also rumoured to be in the ‘Falcon and Winter Soldier’ series, will be reprising her role of Yelena Belova, the sister of Black Widow, from the upcoming ‘Black Widow’.
Vera Farmiga (‘Bate’s Motel’) will be starring Eleanor Bishop, the mother of Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop.
Fee is thought to be playing Kazimierz Kazimierczak, also known as the mercenary villain Clown.
Dalton (‘Better Call Saul’) will play Jack Duquesne, the Swordsman, a former mentor to Hawkeye.
Cox will play Maya Lopez, also known as Echo, a deaf Native American who is capable of perfectly copying another person’s movements, making her a formidable fighter. The character is traditionally associated with Daredevil.
McClarnon (‘Fargo’) will play the role of William Lopez, likely a take on Maya’s father Willie “Crazy Horse” Lincoln from the comics.
