
Hannah John-Kamen will play the lead in Millennium’s new adaptation of ‘Red Sonja’ the classic sword and sorcery character. John-Kamen is best known for playing the villain in Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’. The film will be directed Joey Soloway who co-wrote the script with Tasha Huo. Huo is currently working on Netflix ‘Tomb Raider’ animated series.
Hannah is a very talented actress who we’ve been following for years and she IS Red Sonja. Her range, sensibilities and strength are all qualities we have been looking for and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this journey together.

Red Sonja is a character that was created in the 1970s by Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith for Marvel’s ‘Conan The Barbarian’ comic and is inspired by the works on Conan creator Robert E. Howard. The character was previously played by Brigitte Nielsen in a 1985 adaptation.
Hannah John-Kamen will next be seen in ‘Resident Evil: Welcome To Racoon City’.
