Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, has confirmed that Charlie Cox is his Matt Murdock/Daredevil and will, at some point, be appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course, Cox played the role on the Netflix show until it was surpisingly cancelled in 2018.
Feige is currently doing press for the upcoming ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, in which Cox has been long rumoured to feature, and made his first official statement on the subject.
If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.Kevin Feige/Cinemablend
Although Feige stops short of saying when we will next see Daredevil, it seems like he will be showing up soon rather than later. Not only are there the Spider-Man rumours but the current ‘Hawkeye’ Disney+ show is heavily hinting at a reintroduction to Daredevil’s world in the form of Kingpin. Kingpin, as played by Vincent D’Onofrio, was the overarching villain of the show. Also, ‘Hawkeye’ features the character Echo who first appeared in the Daredevil comics.
The answer should come soon as ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is released on 17th December and ‘Hawkeye’ rounds out its first season on 22nd December.
